Leelanau Makes Its Way To Canada!

In the last month we were fortunate enough to visit and tour Jolly Pumpkin in Dexter Michigan - one of the most recognized breweries in the United States for barrel aging and open fermentation. Deep in the brewery amongst the 300+ wooden barrels you will find a small pocket dedicate to beers of Leelanau Brewing Company. With a very small production made each year and limited availability we have managed to convince owner Charles Psenka to ship his beers north of the border (for the first time) to our bar here in Toronto. On Thursday, February 9th, 2012 starting at 7:00pm we will be featuring two of the three beers made by Leelanau Brewing Company; Whaleback White Ale and Good Harbor Golden Ale. From the Brewery;

“We consider each of our beers a work of art, our passion evident in every taste. We hand craft our ales in old-wood traditions and patiently age them in our custom made, oversized, fine grain, French oak barrels."
